Port Angeles, WA - After opening their season with four losses in their first seven games many people considered the Peninsula Pirates to be "down" this year without taking into consideration the level of competition PC was competing against out of the game with twleve new faces on their roster.

Vancouver, WA - After begining the season unranked the young Pirate squad has done nothing but impress while on the floor.  The other coaches have noticed by catapulting Peninsula from it's previous position of #7 in the rankings all the way to the #2 spot. 

Vancouver, WA - Peninsula’s 6-foot 6-inch freshman wing Salim Gloyd earned NWAACC player of the week honors after his Most Valuable Player performance in leading the Pirates to the Clackamas Holiday Invitational championship last weekend. 

     CLACKAMAS, OR - The Pirates captured their second tournament championship in the past 14 days bookending the Christmas season with something to cheer about.

     ROSEBURG, OR - The Peninsula Pirates dominated from the opening tip en route to their second consecutive South Region Crossover Tournament Championship with a 84–62 thrashing of the second-ranked Edmond Tritons.

Roseburg, OR – The Peninsula Pirate men’s basketball team cruised into the Umpqua Crossover Tournament championship game with a 91 – 82 win over Walla Walla.  

     TWIN FALLS, ID – The Pirates went toe to toe with the winningest junior college basketball program in the country, the third-ranked College of Southern Idaho, for 37 minutes Saturday night in front of a capacity crowd of over 3,500. 

     PORT ANGELES – The Pirates had four players in double figures and held on for a 78-73 win over the Washington Rampage, a professional ABA team, on Tuesday.
