Pirates drop ABA Rampage 78-73

     PORT ANGELES – The Pirates had four players in double figures and held on for a 78-73 win over the Washington Rampage, a professional ABA team, on Tuesday.

     Daniel Sims, a sophomore guard, led the way with 16 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals. Djuan Smith hit for 15 points and added 8 boards, TreShawn King Dunbar hit for 11 points and contributed 4 assists and Gatpan Panaom finished with 10 points.

     Former Peninsula standout Dudley Ewell led the Rampage with 21.

     The Pirates hit the road Thursday for a long trek to Twin Falls, Idaho to play Eastern Utah and the College of Southern Idaho Friday and Saturday.
