Pirate Athletic Association

Excellence in Academics, Athletics and Citizenship Support Pirate Athletic Association

The Pirate Athletic Association provides nearly 60 student-athletes per year with partial or full scholarships to study and participate in intercollegiate athletics. Our four teams are among the best in the nation. The men’s and women’s soccer teams are nationally ranked almost every year and the soccer and basketball teams have now combined to win eight Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) championships and 15 league championships in the past six years. Our student athletes are commonly NWAC leaders in the number of all-academic awards presented. The success of our student-athletes both in the classroom and on the court or field have led to an impressive number of PC students moving on to four year universities.

    Annual Event Sponsor

Peninsula College encourages boosters and corporate sponsors to also support our signature fund raising events, Pirate Casino Night and the Pirate Golf Tournament.

    Pirate Casino Night
Pirate Casino Night is an annual event hosted by 7 Cedars Casino every February. It features a review of the soccer and basketball seasons, a brief talk from a former student athlete, silent and live auctions, casino games and a comedy show. It
is the Athletic Department’s signature fundraising event.

    Pirate Golf Tournament
The annual Pirate Golf Tournament is held in late May or early June and is hosted by Cedars at Dungeness Golf Course. It is a scramble format tournament and is commonly the second largest fund raising event for Peninsula College
    athletic scholarships.

I would like to support Pirate Athletics. How can I get involved?
